I hadn't owned a music game (or a game system) until Rock Band 1. Now I own, RB1, RB2, GH: WT, GH5 (pre-ordered), GH:VH (pre-ordered), TB:RB (picking up on day 1 with gift cards), Lips. I won't likely ever get a Track Pack, since I buy DLC before the packs are released.

Seven music games I now own, and I've only been into this genre for 15 months (thanks again Pabel).

MrPrez, let's see, 2010 will bring:
* RB3 (for certain)
* Maybe an RBN Track Pack or two.
* 3 more RB Track Packs.
* Two more GH artist games.
* RB2: Unplugged (maybe)
* Another GH for DS.
* Lips 3
* Scratch: The Ultimate DJ
* GH6 (likely)
* BH2 (possibly)

Kinda looks like there have been more music games released in 2009 than have been released in all the years previously. If the genre continues the same growth pattern can we expect around 40-50 titles again next year, you think? I won't be sad to see a selection of Music titles take the place of all those recycled sports franchises at my retailer.
